Length of a push notification audio alert is unfortunately limited to 30 seconds for Apple devices. So, any longer audio files (as call to prayer) can't be completely played if your app is not running.
Follow these steps to hear the full adhan:
1. When the adhan start, open the notification bar of your iOS device.
2. Tap the notification that appears to launch Prayer Times application and get the full adhan.
Android
Android notifications will automatically stop when:
- You receive another notification from another application (email, sms, etc...).
- You pull down the notification menu from the Android status bar.
